Back in 1997 e-recruitment was introduced as a means to recruit people. In the same year Hireserve was one of the first suppliers of an e-recruitment solution: the Internet Candidate Management System also known as iCams. In 1999 Hireserve introduced iCams as a service so that customers would no longer have to be concerned about providing the infrastructure to run e-recruitment software.
