Deloitte NL - in tune with social media

02 NOV 2009

Earlier last month,  the new Deloitte careers website in the Netherlands was launched www.werkenbijdeloitte.nl

This was a particularly exciting time for the Dutch Hireserve team as they have enjoyed working with Deloitte and Maximum (the creative marketing agency behind the Deloitte careers page design) to create an innovative concept with strong emphasis on using social media by which to engage with potential candidates.

The creativity to develop such an original careers site is clearly essential as is the underlying e-recruitment technology, iCams, provided by the Hireserve Team.    The flexibility of iCams and the strength of its design architecture enabled Deloitte to incorporate their pioneering approach into their careers site and gave them the confidence that the technology was out there to meet their needs.

In the Netherlands, Deloitte’s forward thinking outlook encouraged them to embrace the recruitment opportunities that the social media revolution such as Twitter and Hyves (similar to Facebook) http://deloitte.hyves.nl/ offer.  It has enabled them to positively engage with potential employees through blogging and tweets and encouraged applicants to find out more about Deloitte personnel and what it is like to work there.

The site looks good, feels good and is producing results – no wonder that all involved are feeling pretty chuffed with their efforts!
