eircom recruits apprentices using iCams

eircom, Ireland’s leading provider of fixed-line and mobile telecommunications services, launched its first apprenticeship scheme for over 30 years in 2011.  Seventy apprentices were recruited in a challenging three month time frame and iCams managed the entire recruitment process, managing over 4,800 applications. Cranfield University selects Agresso e-Recruiter in partnership with Hireserve

Hireserve in partnership with UNIT4 Business software announced that Cranfield University has selected UNIT4’s one-stop Software as a Service (SaaS) recruitment solution, Agresso e-Recruiter. The solution will streamline internal recruiting operations, save time and money, and enhance the applicant experience.

Attracting and recruiting the best talent is key to Cranfield maintaining its global reputation for inspirational teaching, high quality research and renowned business connections. With this in mind the University is implementing Agresso e-Recruiter. The solution will streamline the entire recruitment lifecycle, enabling candidates to apply and track their application progression electronically and recruiting managers to access applications online to short list candidates.

“The recruitment of the best possible staff is vital for the University’s drive to continue to improve its position as one of the leading postgraduate research centres in the world,” said Jo Catterill, the University’s HR Projects Manager.   “Agresso e-Recruiter will be fundamental to the University achieving this.”

The solution will enable Cranfield University, via a thoroughly modern interface, to attract applicants and help the University’s recruitment team easily adapt its strategy and apply best practice recruitment processes.  Agresso e-Recruiter includes a job board that is fully integrated with the Institution’s website, application tracking, configurable online application forms and 25 standard reports.

Agresso’s flexibility is also important to the University, allowing recruitment staff to configure the system when required without the need to call in costly external IT consultants.

Apply via LinkedIn - now available in iCams

This summer, LinkedIn introduced the "Apply with LinkedIn" button; a button that allows candidates to apply for vacancies with their LinkedIn profile.

Hireserve is pleased to announce that we have developed a full integration with our recruitment software, iCams, allowing the automatic transfer of all details from a candidate’s LinkedIn profile to be copied into the iCams applicant tracking database and a CV PDF document to be generated.

The "Apply with LinkedIn" button can be added to a vacancy within iCams as an option next to the regular “apply now” link. This offers candidates the choice to apply using their LinkedIn profile and all they require is their LinkedIn username and password to complete the application – quick and simple!
